Introducing Cenli – Making advanced biofeedback accessible
The team behind the upcoming medical product Cerebri is now launching Cenli – a new home-based biofeedback tool that helps users regulate stress and train their nervous system, with no need for medical supervision.
Cerebri is currently under development and intended for future certification as a medical device. But certification is a long and complex process. Rather than wait years to bring the benefits of the technology to the public, the team is introducing Cenli – built on the same advanced sensor platform, but without any medical components or claims.
“We’ve developed technology we know works – and we want people to benefit from it now, not in three years,” says Cathrine Ro Heuch, CEO in Nordic Brain Tech. “That’s why we’re launching Cenli in fall 2025.”
A tool to understand and train the nervous system
Cenli measures three key physiological signals: heart rate variability (HRV), fingertip temperature, and muscle tension. With guided breathing and relaxation, users can see how their body responds in real time and gradually build more balance between stress and recovery.
“Breathing techniques are widely known, but it’s hard to know if you’re doing them correctly. Cenli gives you instant feedback and helps your body calm down more effectively,” says Petter Holmboe, Lead designer in Nordic Brain Tech.
Improved hardware and a redesigned app
Cenli features upgraded sensors and a redesigned app, both refined for a smoother, more intuitive user experience. Everything from setup to session flow has been improved to make daily use simple, effective, and engaging. The sensors were developed in close collaboration with design studio Above in Sweden, and every detail—from fit and feel to accuracy—has been carefully considered.
A mirror for your inner state
The accompanying app shows how your nervous system is doing in the moment – and how it evolves over time. Like fitness trackers give insight into physical performance, Cenli offers visibility into how you manage stress and tension.
“It’s like Strava, but for your nervous system,” the a user said after testing it.
Launching fall 2025
Cenli will be available in a limited first edition starting fall 2025. The product is developed and assembled in Norway.
