Brain Twin Integrated in Electronic Health Record
Brain Twin is now available for primary care providers in Norway
We’re excited to announce a new integration between the Brain Twin app and the WebMed electronic health record (EHR) system. This update makes it easier than ever for healthcare professionals to access structured headache data.
With patient consent, physicians can now retrieve a detailed report directly from the Brain Twin app. The report includes key information such as medication use and number of headache days, along with a clear statistical overview that is stored directly in the patient’s medical record.
The integration streamlines communication between patients and clinicians, reducing the need for manual transfer of headache diaries. It enables patients to take a more active role in their care while giving healthcare providers immediate access to relevant clinical data. The integration launched today and is now available to all users of the WebMed system in Norway.
This marks an important milestone in our ongoing collaboration with WebMed, and further development is already underway.
WebMed is a Norwegian EHR provider used by one in four general practitioners in Norway. Through this partnership, Brain Twin becomes the first Norwegian headache app to operate on next-generation technology for app–EHR communication. This breakthrough supports simpler dialogue and treatment workflows for hundreds of thousands of migraine patients—and for all GPs and clinicians looking to streamline their daily practice.
By eliminating manual data entry and improving information flow, this integration supports a more efficient and safe experience for both patients and healthcare professionals.
